The busy sports season is upon us. True, baseball’s nearly over, but we’re only midway through the NFL and college football seasons, the hockey season is a few weeks old, and basketball---both college and NBA---is about to start. Even less popular sports like soccer, field hockey and wrestling are popping up on the fall calendar.
In my best Rock voice...FINALLY!! College football is back and not a moment too soon. And thankfully, there's a plethora of games to watch this Labor Day Weekend. So kick back in your favorite recliner, grab a case of Natty Boh's and rejoice that the greatest sport has returned. With games every day over this long weekend, here are the games to watch:
As first reported by rumorsandrants.com (link to original article at bottom), Johnny Manziel was asked by the Mannings themselves to leave the Manning Passing Academy after not showing up to the Air It Out challenge. Sources say that Manziel missed every practice but one and slept through all of the staff meetings. Manziel was apparently "sick" (hungover) and couldn't make it.
The Big Ten Conference officially announced today that it was foregoing its current division names — the laughable Legends and Leaders — to usher in new, more conservative names beginning in 2014: East and West.
