Towson University Ice Hockey Is On A Roll
Miss hockey? Me too.
With the NHL's CBA negoiations going on for a third consecutive day after the marathon weekend they had, I am optimistic that something big is brewing heading into next week. However, that still doesn't fill my need to see some puck, so I've been checking out the Towson University Men's team over at Ice World - these kids can play.
It's been a whirlwind of a season so far for the Tigers, putting up a 10-2-0-0-2 record going into this Saturday's game against Lehigh University at 4:30pm.

Will Maryland Ever Win a Championship Again?
This year will mark the 10th anniversary of Maryland’s first and only national title in men’s basketball. For a long time, College Park was a basketball powerhouse. In 2002, the Terps were widely favored to win the championship because of returning starters Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter, Steve Blake and Chris Wilcox. Critics said that these guys were the key to a title run. But as someone who witnessed Maryland’s season (and championship) in person, I can tell you that these four stars weren’t the key to winning the title.
Tweets of the Week (2/17/12)
My apologies for no tweets of the week last week, so to make up for it, an epic mega two week Tweets of the Week. As always, if you have any nominations, feel free to send em my way! Shoutout to whoever created the #ThinnestSportsBooks hashtag several days ago, that was absolutely sensational. Also, for those that follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I'm a sucker for the fake @nobody RT.
