Bubba Watson ultimately won the 2011 Farmers Insurance Open, but not before a little drama. Phil Mickelson was trailing Watson's score of 16 under (after Bubba birdied the final hole) by two strokes, needing an eagle on 18 to force a "lefty vs lefty" playoff. Phil's drive was a little off the mark and had to lay up with his second shot on the water-guarded par 5. His third shot, the one he needed to hole, was 72 yards from the cup. Phil sent his caddy to the green to TEND THE FLAGSTICK (for those who don't speak golf, that's remove the flag on a shot because you think you're going to make it). Once again, Phil wanted his caddy to tend the flag from 72 yards. Most of us don't need the flag to be tended from 7 ft. The best part is that Phil almost dropped it in, missing by only about 3 ft. Although he didn't win, Phil had one of the best shots of the year so far. Watch the video to see how the tournament wrapped up!!!
