Tressel Suspended 2 Games

No wonder Jim Tressel didn't drop the hammer on his team when it was discovered some Ohio State players selling their football trophies and gear. Tressel knew as early as April that this was going on. Hell, Jimmy probably sold some game-worn sweater vests as the leader of the operation.

With his stars sitting the bench for the first 5 games, Jim Tressel may join them for the first two. Coach Tressel was suspended 2 games and was fined $250,000 by Ohio State. The NCAA still can get involved and increase his punishment. When asked about the knowledge of the information, Tressel said he did not know who to turn to and was scared. That doesn't sound like the poised leader of the Buckeyes. Could this be the downward spiral for the Bucks? Michigan sure hopes it is so the spotlight can be lifted from Ann Arbor and shown on Columbus.
